RAYA MORRISON
Raya grew up in rural Connecticut, where she developed a deep love of the outdoors from an early age. After spending several years working in New York City theater, she earned her Master of Landscape Architecture from The City College of New York in 2014. Her final thesis project received the prestigious ASLA NY Student Honor Award.
Throughout her professional career, Raya has worked with prominent figures in the architecture and design field, including Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Deborah Nevins & Associates, and Hollander Design, focusing primarily on residential estates across the Northeast.
Drawing from her background in the visual and performing arts, Raya brings a creative perspective to her projects, helping to choreograph the experience of a landscape over time. She is skilled in creating complex digital and 3D renderings and is often called upon to oversee projects during the design development phase. Additionally, her technical expertise in construction documentation helps guide projects toward their realization.
On Sunday mornings, you might find her sipping a cup of coffee overlooking her garden, secretly wishing her little ones had let her sleep in a bit longer.
